At the age of three years old, I was trapped in a house fire.

At the time I had an out of body experience and have had several since - during stressful situations.

I have a constant feelings of guilt, anxiety, irratability when with strangers, depression and a constant fear.

My PTSD is worse in November because of Bonfire Night. I think there should be a campaign to stop people buying fireworks - they should only be sold for organised events.

To take my mind off things I watch a lot of TV and occasionally do some knitting.

The one thing that takes my pain away completely - is having a cuddle with my rabbit, Julliette.

i have suffered from this terrible monster for the best part of my life allthough i was only diagnosed in 2008, i was abused as a child by my mother and stepfather , and then joined the forces at 16 i served over thirteen years and served in a couple of different  conflicts , i had witnessed many things that at the time didn't bother me. After leaving the forces my behaviour to others grew worse i would fight and drink for the hell of it, i couldn't keep a relationship and all i touched seemed to fall apart , as the years rolled on i realised i had problems and sought help in many ways, but carried on through the system with out treatment, in 2008 i was finally picked up by someone in the health proffession who had expierience with veterans she sent me off to combat stress in leatherhead uk where i was diagnosed  with chronic ptsd and co morbidity, i am glad that i was picked up and diagnosed it was a huge relief to realise i had a problem and get on the correct meds, however lack of understanding from others really hurts especially when it comes from those nearest to you.
